The Principal Simon D’Lima needs no introduction. He started his teaching career in 1943. Since then he is nursing the same pas¬sion, pursuing his life-mission and dreaming to turn a multitude of his students into better human beings, compassionate and humane, helping build a better world for the posterity.
Principal Simon D’Lima, who must have taught as least half of Karachi during his more than 60 years teaching career, enjoys a unique distinction of which any educationist would be proud of. Prof. D'Lima and is imparting that kind of education which made his students distinguished in every walk of life with a sense of responsibility. To name just a few of his students among the numerous personalities such as …………………………………. who have held very high positions in the government. Outstanding of them all whom we all know very well is the President of Pakistan, General Pervaiz Musharraf who was also one of his student during his teaching career in
St. Patrick’s High School.
Mr. Simon D’lima is the founder and Principal of St. Peter’s High School. He was born in Karachi. He studied at St. Patrick’s High School and passed his matriculation in 1943 from Bombay University. After his matriculation he started teaching at St. Patrick’s High School In 1968 he passed M.A. English from Karachi University and obtained 1st Class third position in B.Ed . From 1973 to 1978 he worked as Principal of PAF Model School Drigh Road and in 1978 he founded.
St. Peter’s High School, 80 Muslimabad, Karachi and in 1981 at Clifton. He has a teaching experience of more than 60 years. He is a well known personality in the educational field.
