St. Peter's has modern computer laboratories for all
its students. Students are expected to attend
computer classes at least once a week. Students
aged 7 and below are exposed to different

Sports, Athletics and
Taekwondo |
Sports, athletics and taekwondo form not only
an essential part of the curriculum in St. Peter's but
also help in the overall personality development
of children. Therefore, each year St. Peter's holds
inter branch basketball, badminton and table
tennis competitions to develop a sense of
competitiveness and sportsman spirit in
children.
Children also regularly have
taekwondo classes in which they are taught and
guided by professional taekwondo
instructors.

Gardens |
Caring for birds and animals is an essential
part of the overall personality development of
montessori children. St. Peter's has therefore kept a
few animals and birds in the school premises.
St. Peter's also provides students with the opportunity
of experimenting on the flower and vegetable
patch which is not merely for fun but also
provides an opportunity for a practical exercise
in
science.

Medical Check
Up |
The school provides a general medical check
up to students once a year with special emphasis
on teeth and
eyesight.

First Aid |
First aid medication is available in school.
Prescription medication that needs to be taken
during school hours should be sent with a note
stating the time and dosage to be given. The
school gives first aid to students receiving
minor injuries during school hours. The school
informs the parents on telephone if it feels the
child needs specialist treatment. While the
school takes maximum precautions for the safety
of the children, it does not hold itself
responsible for any injury caused during the
course of a school
day.

School
Supervision |
Supervision is provided for 30 minutes by the
teacher on duty and school guard before and
after the regular school timings. Parents are
advised to ensure that their children are
dropped and picked up within this time. However,
the school guard and ayah are on duty for an
hour after school closing
time.

Scholarships |
The school gives talent scholarships to all
students securing 80% and above marks in classes
VI to X and O levels.
Scholarships are also
granted to the deserving students. Parents
become eligible to apply only after their child
has been in school for one
year.

Morning
Assemblies |
Assemblies are held daily to teach students
about participation in large group activities,
to celebrate National and UNESCO days, to make
announcements and to discuss school problems.
Morning assemblies are not only open to parents
but they are encouraged to actively participate
in
them.

National Days |
The school celebrates national days like
Pakistan Day in March, Quaid-e-Azam Day in
December, Eid Milad and many other important
days of the year. Children are encouraged to
display art, painting and collage. Competitions
in speeches and essay writing are also
held.

UNESCO Days |
St. Peter's is amongst the registered institutions of
UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network for
the promotion of international education for
peace, human rights, democracy and international
understanding. Different international
days/multiple projects are selected and given to
school branches/classes at the beginning of the
year to be observed by them, the themes of which
lead to a culture of peace, human rights and
social equality. These UNESCO Days are
celebrated to highlight the core motive behind
each issue and to make children aware of social
values.

Sports Day |
A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
Inculcating a habit of physical exercise and
interaction among the students; Sports Day is
very enthusiastically celebrated in all branches
of St. Peter's to take a break from the routine of
studies. Various races and competitions are
organized and parents are invited to witness
their children participating in different games
and
competitions.

Parents Day |
Parents Day is organized in St. Peter's for parents
to come and observe their children and their
involvement in various activities. Projects made
/ prepared by the students and teachers are
displayed in classrooms, along with the best
copies, while the enacting of stories and poems
also takes place. In short, it’s a day for
parents to judge for themselves the performance
of the school as well as their
children.

Fun Fair |
A Fun Fair is held annually. All classes put
up stalls, display their art work, organize
games of skill, arrange eatables and provide
some entertainment. The fun fair is totally
organized, managed and run by the students under
the supervision of their respective
teachers.

Letters |
The St. Peter's newsletter titled “The Light” is
published at the end of each term. The school,
through its newsletters, communicates with the
parents and informs them about the different
school activities, academic and extra
curricular, taken place throughout the
term.

Field Trips |
St. Peter's arranges field trips to places of
historical, educational and recreational
interest. Students are asked to suggest venues
for trips to their class teachers. A parent
permission slip must be completed and returned
to the school office prior to any field
trip.
